More and more people in Japan are interested in the phenomenon of PTG. This picture was taken with Dr. Taku Kondo’s research lab at Tokai University, Department of Psychological and Sociological Studies. They are doing research on life and death education for children, by focusing on Self-Esteem (They have developed Social and Basic Self-Esteem Test – TR for children).

Our new research, a class-intervention program for PTG, has just started in Japan. This research is designed to examine the possible reasons why some teenagers report greater growth than others, by testing the effectiveness of a newly created high school intervention educational program.
