Katie’s Honors College Proposal Presentation

Recently in the FF-TIP lab, first semester research assistant and graduate student Katie Romzek gave a presentation on her honors college proposal, regarding depression severity and social distancing.

Katie started by laying the necessary background information, citing recent literature regarding her proposal. This highlighted the current stigma around depression and prejudice. She went on to point out current gaps in the research before highlighting the current aim of her proposal.

Katie went on to cover her hypotheses and research design in great detail, , showing her potential participants, variables, measures, and procedures that will be used during her study. Katie concluded by discussing the importance of her research as well as the future implications. 

Katie gave an excellent presentation and we hope to see more of her proposal in the future!
