Last week, Marina Morris, a graduate student in the FF-TIP lab presented new study at the psychology departmental research series where faculty and students meet to learn about ongoing projects. The presentation Marina gave is titled “Modern-Type Depression and Passive Suicidal Ideation Risk: The roles of Privileged Self, Interpersonal Sensitivity, and Culture”. It is a collaborative study with Dr. Taku’s colleagues in Japan. In fact, Marina gave the same presentation in Japanese the other day.
We are very proud to see Marina share her research findings across cultures and look forward to seeing he study being published in the future!
