Congratulations to undergraduate research assistants Amani Qaqish, Avery Machuk, and Amber Efthemiou for graduating this semester!
Amber graduated from Oakland University with a B.A. in psychology and minors in holistic health and sociology. She will be attending graduate school for clinical psychology and plans to continue to explore topics such as trauma/PTG, dynamics of personality, and the social context of geriatric mental health.
Amani graduated from Oakland University with a B.A. in psychology and a minor in human resource development. Amani will be pursuing a PhD at Wayne State University’s Industrial and Organizational Psychology doctoral program. Amani was also a graduate of Oakland University’s Honors College.
Avery graduated from Oakland University with a B.A. in psychology. As a part of Oakland University’s Honors College, she recently received a thesis award in psychology for her Honors College thesis regarding changes in social anxiety. Avery will be attending the University of Michigan in the fall as a graduate student in their Master of Social Work program.
We are so proud of all that our undergraduate research assistants have achieved and look forward to seeing what comes next for each of them!
