The FF-TIP lab wants to congratulate our recent graduate, Gina Reyes! She just obtained her Bachelor’s in Psychology with a minor in Christian studies. While she was in this lab, Gina studied topics related to grief such as perceptions, disenfranchised grief and post-traumatic stress; and different types of beliefs such as worldviews and meaning-making. In addition to her work as a researcher, she was also an amazing lab manager!
The next step in Gina’s journey is getting her PhD at Texas A&M University, where she will work under the mentorship of Dr. Mathew Vess in the Existential Psychology Collaboratory. Her research topics will still center grief and meaning-making processes, but will also expand to include experiences of authenticity.
We are so proud of you, Gina! The work that you have done in this lab has been nothing but great and innovative, and we cannot wait to see the great things that you will do as a Texas A&M student. Good luck, Gina!
