On September 22nd, the FF-TIP Lab hosted our first-ever Open Lab meeting! These meetings provide an opportunity for students and researchers to share their work, exchange ideas, and engage in scientific discussions.
Our first meeting featured two presentations by FF-TIP Lab members:
Paxton Hicks presented his research on self-disclosure, exploring how the topics we share with others change as relationships develop, from strangers to close friends.
Meghan Martini gave a Stepback presentation on her Master’s thesis topic, exploring cognitive offloading and the potential cognitive consequences of AI-assisted clinical note documentation.
Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to our first Open Lab! We look forward to continuing these discussions and welcoming new perspectives at our upcoming meetings.
