One of our students at the FF-TIP lab, Ana Samaniego Ramos, is currently recruiting participants for her research study! The purpose of her study is to understand how immigrant populations navigate complex group interactions. She is looking for people who were born outside of the United States and migrated here at some point in their life, are 18 years or older, and have a proficient level of English reading. If you’re interested and open to it or know anyone else that would be, she would love to have you participate or share with them information about this study.
Participation involves a quick 30-minute survey. You or the person you send this survey to will first answer a few questions about yourself / themselves and your / their experiences living in the United States. Then you / them will be reading an imaginary group project scenario and respond to several questions about your/their feelings, thoughts, and behaviors regarding each part that you/they read.
If you are interested, you can click here to take our survey: https://oakland.az1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0w9D2bAlUvPbTT0
Help us spread the word! If you know someone else who might be a good fit, please feel free to send this message to them or show them the flyer attached.
If you have more questions about this process, or if you need to contact Ana about participation, she may be reached at asamaniegoramos@oakland.edu. Or you can contact her faculty advisor, Dr. Kanako Taku at taku@oakland.edu.
